Acceptance of Terms
By viewing or posting messages on the boards, you agree to obide the terms and conditions outlined in the document. This document may be changed at any time with or without notice. It is the responsibility of the user to the check this document often for changes and/or updates that may have been made to it.
Registration Requirements
In order to register and account with FearKiller Boards, you must be a minimum age of 13. Due to COPPA, The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, FearKiller Boards is unable to collect any information from individuals under the age of 13. Although FearKiller Boards doesn't collect information which proves an individuals age, if a user is found to be underage, his or her account will be immediately terminated. A valid email address is also required during registration of your account at FearKiller Boards. At the completion of your registration you will recieve an email shortly after that contains an activation key in the form of a URL. You must visit this URL using a web browser of your choice in order to activate your account with FearKiller Boards.
Account Responsibility
All users are responsible for his or her own account(s) registered at FearKiller Boards. It is recommended that you associate a password with your account that can not be easily guessed by others. It is also recommended that you do not share your account(s) with anyone else. Although accounts may be shared, it is impossible to determine that one account is being used by two or more people. The same goes for users who use accounts from the same location. FearKiller Boards logs IP addresses which in occurences of sever TOS violations will be used to ban all accounts originating or used from the same location. FearKiller Boards is not responsible for hacked accounts.
Content Notice
Although the moderators and administrators of FearKiller Boards do monitor the content posted on the boards, it's impossible to make the boards free of messages that you, the viewer, may find offensive at all times. You agree, that while viewing the boards you may come across content or messages that may be offensive to you and that you will not hold FearKiller Boards, nor its affiliates or sponsors responsible for content posted on the boards in any way. All content posted on the boards are the opinions and views of the individual who posted the content.
Privacy Policy
FearKiller Boards will not forward any information collected from any user to any third party unless required to do so by law. FearKiller Boards reserves the right to forward all information collected from users who violate US laws to third parties such as this site's web host, the user's ISP, or law inforcement officials. The email address collected upon registration at FearKiller Boards will be kept private and will only be seen by administrators of FearKiller Boards.
Rules & Guidelines
The following is a list of the current rules and guidelines that each user must follow while viewing and/or posting messages on the boards. Failure to follow the rules and guidlines listed bellow will result in karma loss, warnings, suspensions, and/or bans.
- Offensive Messages
Posting content which may be offensive or insulting to other users of the boards is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to:- Posting or linking to images that contain offensive content
- Racism and any type of discrimination.
- Insults directed towards other members of the boards.
- Any sever use of profanity.
- Disruptive Posting
Posting content that disturbs the normal flow of the boards and/or disturbs the viewing pleasure for other users is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to:- Misuse and/or abuse of BBcode abilities.
- Posting messages that require a user to scroll horizontally.
- Linking to disruptive or harmful sites without warning.
- Large blank messages and/or repetive messages with extremely little content such as one word posts.
- Spamming
Posting messages for the sole purpose of advertising your web site, forum, product, service, etc. is prohibited. Users are allowed to include a link in their sig, ask for reviews and rating on their personal web site in a social setting, and post links to sites which are relavant or helpful to the topic/forum. - Unauthorized Access
Gaining access or attempting to access another account is strictly forbidden at FearKiller Boards. Users who violate this rule will result in immediate loss of all known accounts. - Impersonation
Users are not allowed to create usernames for the purpose of impersonating or mocking another member of the boards. Users who are found to be in violation of this rule will have their account banned (along with all associated accounts.) - Reserved Rights
FearKiller Boards reserves the right to alter or delete any message posted by anyone on the boards whether the message be against the TOS or not. FearKiller Boards also reserves to remove, ban, suspend, etc. any account for any reason without notice to the individual.
Terms Violations
Messages found to be in violation of the FearKiller Boards Terms of Service will be deleted and additional penalties such as karma loss, warnings, and suspensions may be applied by a moderator or administrator. FearKiller Boards reserves the right to alter or delete any message posted by anyone at any time whether the message be against the TOS or not. FearKiller Boards also reserves the right to remove, ban, suspend, etc. any account for any reason without notice to the individual. You agree that that moderator and administrator's decisions are final and that you will in no way legally contest their rullings.
