In the past, many computers went down to the install of XP SP2 forcing many people to reformat their hard drives and start from scratch. Do you think Microsoft would have learned from this situation and not have another occurrence with Service Pack 3? Nope.

It started Memorial weekend when my grandfather just asked me to update his computer. I saw that the only update was Service Pack 3 for XP. There's nothing worse than when an application crashes. Especially when it's an application that works perfectly fine and then crashes when you try to close it.

My task today was to rid a PC of spyware. Before I began my removal, I was browsing around to see what problems this spyware was causing. I noticed that the PC's ability to use a search engine was hijacked, IE crashed on exit, and that the PC was using over a gig of memory resources...

Anyway, a restart of the workstation toke care of the memory issue. That's one down. Next, I ran Spybot...

For a living, I work on computer and network design and repair for a local business. One program we enjoy selling to our clients is Symantec 10.2. That is before Symantec 11.0 was introduced. Here is our experience with this program.

Finally decided to work on the blog again and have finally added the RSS feed. For those of you who don't know, an RSS feed is just something you can subscribe to so that you don't have to constantly check back at this blog to see if I've posted anything.
