One of the worst things that can happen in the IT world is when something so simple goes terribly wrong. A simple install of a network printer using HP's install disc produces an error message. Now every time the PC restarts it says it has found a new printer. A printer that is already installed and working.

So at the start of this issue I figured I would uninstall using the HP disc. Negative. The message still pops up. I went and uninstalled all HP software on that PC. The message still pops up. Furious over this I began to research online. I could not believe how simple the solution was.

Right click "My Computer" >> Go to "Properties" >> Go to the "Hardware" tab >> Click "Device Manager" button.

Once you got the device manager open go to "View" in the menu bar and then select "Show Hidden Devices." All you gotta do then is find the "Printers" section, expand it, and delete all the bogus printers. Problem solved.
